| 备注 |
By 1923, Brazil's Thesouro Nacional had been running successive print orders of this 50 Mil Réis type for years — the "15th. Print" designation reflects the chronic demand that outpaced the Casa da Moeda's capacity to retire older issues. Inflation pressure throughout the early 1920s kept notes like this cycling through commerce long after fresher impressions appeared.
The engraver Borges and designer F. Castro were both Casa da Moeda staff, making this an entirely domestic production — unusual enough at the time, when Brazil still regularly contracted European firms for higher-denomination work.
