| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed entirely in deep red-wine, the reverse is dominated by a central architectural vignette of the State Treasury building in Porto Alegre, rendered in detailed lithographic line work with a neoclassical façade and domed roof. Denomination numerals '50' appear in ornate cartouches at both left and right, surrounded by elaborate guilloche lace borders filling the entire field. The issuer inscription runs along the lower margin beneath the building vignette, with the printer's imprint at the foot. |
