Opmerkingen

Finland's post-independence monetary situation in the early 1920s was still finding its footing — the markka had been severed from the Russian ruble system only a few years earlier, and Suomen Pankki was rebuilding public confidence in domestic paper currency. Giesecke & Devrient in Leipzig handled the printing, a practical choice given their established security printing infrastructure and Finland's limited domestic capacity at the time.

The Litt A through C suffixes denote successive print runs with minor typographic or plate variations — distinguishing them requires close attention to signature combinations and serial prefix ranges.
