| Obverse description | Central design features the state emblem of Turkmenistan, consisting of a central roundel bearing the silhouette of an Akhal-Teke horse in profile, surrounded by a decorative circular band with traditional carpet gul motifs and flanked by wheat sheaves. The emblem is set within an eight-pointed star frame bearing a crescent moon and five stars in the upper portion.
