Obverse description Central field features the state coat of arms of Turkmenistan, depicting a Akhal-Teke horse within a circular medallion surrounded by five carpet guls, enclosed by wheat ears forming a wreath, all set within a geometric star-shaped frame. Above the central device, a crescent moon with five stars appears within a square panel — elements drawn from the national flag. A curved legend arcs along the upper rim, with the independence anniversary dates '1991' and '2011' flanking the lower portion of the central design. Decorative olive branches extend along the lower rim, and ornamental rosettes appear to either side of the central device in the field.
