Obverse description	Intaglio vignette of King Moshoeshoe I seated at left, rendered in purple, dressed in traditional attire and holding a staff. The national arms appear in an ornate guilloche rosette at centre, encircled by the legend THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR, with the date below. A multicolour guilloche underprint covers the field, with the denomination numeral 50 printed in large format at lower right and the issuing authority CENTRAL BANK OF LESOTHO across the top.
