| 裏面の説明 | A galloping horse rendered in fine relief occupies the central field, depicted in full profile facing left with all four legs extended in a dynamic cantering pose, conveying motion and vitality. The denomination '50 LUMA' is inscribed in Latin characters along the upper periphery in a curved legend. The date '2004' appears in the lower exergue in Latin numerals. The flat, unadorned field provides a clean contrast to the boldly modelled equine figure, which is executed with careful anatomical detail. |

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic — internationally unrecognized and contested between Armenia and Azerbaijan since the early 1990s conflict — issued this aluminium coinage in 2004 partly as an assertion of administrative legitimacy. Functioning parallel to the Armenian dram, these coins saw limited practical circulation and were produced in small quantities, making survivors in any condition genuinely scarce rather than artificially so.
