Obverse description Green note with intricate guilloche underprint throughout. Arabic inscriptions occupy the central field, with the denomination numeral 50 at lower left and lower right. The Syrian national arms — an eagle with shield — appear at the right, with the issuer's name in Arabic at top centre within a decorated panel. Two signatures appear at centre below the text block, with the serial number printed at upper right and lower left.
