Obverse description The obverse features the Lithuanian state coat of arms, the Vytis, depicting an armored knight on a rearing horse, raising a sword in his right hand and bearing a shield charged with a double cross on his left arm. The national name LIETUVA arcs along the upper periphery in large spaced Latin letters, while the denomination 50 LITU curves along the lower periphery. The date 2010 appears to the left of the Vytis in the field, and the Lithuanian Mint monogram is positioned to the right.
