| 背面描述 | Central vignette presents an engraved cityscape view of Vilnius Cathedral with its detached belfry tower at right and the surrounding Cathedral Square, rendered in fine intaglio line work against a pale guilloche underprint. The Lithuanian Coat of Arms — the Vytis — is set within a cartouche at upper right, with the numeral 50 repeated at lower left and lower right. The denomination inscription runs in a bold letterpress band across the lower register. |

| 备注 |
Lithuania restored its currency in June 1993, replacing the interim talonas with the litas at a fixed rate of 100 talonų to 1 litas. The 50 Litas denomination was part of that initial restored series, with Thomas De La Rue contracted to handle production — a common choice for newly re-independent states in the early 1990s lacking domestic security printing infrastructure.
The watermark is the sole listed security feature, which reflects the compressed production timeline rather than any deliberate minimalism. Later Lithuanian issues added significantly more sophisticated features as the currency settled into long-term use.
