| Obverse description | A detailed architectural view of the Great Mosque (Ulu Cami) of Diyarbakır dominates the field, rendered with fine relief depicting its characteristic stone arcade, ornate column capitals, and multi-arched portico. The composition is bisected diagonally by a polished mirror field in the upper right quadrant, within which the Turkish crescent-and-star emblem appears at upper left alongside the legend TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ and DİYARBAKIR inscribed in two lines. The denomination 50 TL and date 2011 are incused in the lower exergual area of the coin. |
