| Obverse description | Central field features a large unfurled scroll bearing four lines of Turkish verse from the Keloğlan folk tale tradition, rendered in relief against a matte background. To the right of the scroll stands a decorative inkwell with a quill feather pen, rendered in fine detail. The Turkish crescent and star appear at the left field. The legend TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 50 TL and the date 2009 appear along the lower periphery in raised lettering. |
