Reverse description A large, centrally placed royal crown dominates the field, rendered in fine relief with floral and foliate decorative elements on the band, pearl-studded arches, and surmounted by an orb topped with a Greek Orthodox cross. The circular legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ (Kingdom of Greece) arcs around the upper periphery within a beaded border. The denomination 50 ΛΕΠΤΑ is boldly inscribed below the crown, with the date 1868 in the lower exergue.
