| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the Moldovan state coat of arms depicting a displayed eagle bearing a shield charged with the aurochs head, star, rose, and crescent — the traditional symbols of Moldova. The eagle holds an olive branch in its right talon and a sceptre in its left, with a cross above its head. The legend REPUBLICA to the left and MOLDOVA to the right arcs along the rim in raised Latin characters.
