| Obverse description | Central field features the Moldovan state coat of arms depicting a displayed eagle bearing a shield charged with the aurochs head, star, rose, and crescent — the traditional symbols of Moldova. The eagle holds an olive branch in its right talon and a sceptre in its left, with a cross above its head.
