| Obverse description | The Moldovan state coat of arms occupies the upper field, depicting a displayed eagle bearing a shield charged with the traditional symbols of Moldova — an aurochs head, star, crescent, and rose — and holding an olive branch and a sceptre in its talons. A horizontal line divides the field, separating the arms above from the denomination below.
