The centre field carries a multicolour guilloche underprint in green and pink, with the denomination in Burmese script at centre. The issuer's name in Burmese script runs along the top border, with the numeral "50" in arabics at upper right and the Burmese numeral at upper left, repeated at lower right. |

The central vignette, executed in fine intaglio engraving, portrays a seated female lacquerware artisan at work, surrounded by an array of traditional Burmese lacquer vessels and decorative wares. Ornate guilloche panels in olive, orange and red flank the central scene on either side, each incorporating a scrollwork numeral "50". The issuer's name in Roman script appears across the top border, with the denomination in both Arabic numerals and English text along the lower border. |
