| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on a pale rose-tinted paper with an intricate engraved border of scrollwork and corner ornaments, each corner bearing the numeral 50 in an oval cartouche. At the top centre, a crowned heraldic lion vignette within an oval medallion flanked by foliate decoration is set above the bank name in letterpress; the denomination FEMTIO (fifty) appears in an oval guilloche panel flanked by calligraphic Kronor inscriptions, with the vertical side panels bearing the word HALLAND. The note carries the overprint PROFTRYCK (proof impression) and the name JACOB BAGGE, with the place and date Halmstad, 1888 printed in script below the denomination. |
