Description de l’avers	A provisional issue based on the 1987 Czechoslovak 50 Korún note (P#96), overstamped with a rectangular adhesive stamp bearing the Slovak coat of arms and the inscription 'SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA' to validate it for circulation in the newly independent Slovak Republic. The central vignette carries an intaglio portrait of Ľudovít Štúr at right, with a large numeral '50' guilloche medallion at left and an eagle vignette in the centre. The denomination 'PÄŤDESIAT KORÚN ČESKOSLOVENSKÝCH' and the date '1987' appear across the lower centre.

Description du revers	A panoramic intaglio vignette of Bratislava dominates the centre, with Bratislava Castle prominently positioned on the hill at left overlooking the city's historic rooftops and the Danube river in the foreground. The large numeral '50' appears at lower left and lower right, while a decorative vignette of a bunch of grapes with vine leaves occupies the right margin. The header inscription in Slovak runs across the top of the note.
