| Obverse description | At left, an intaglio vignette of two young women in traditional Slovak folk costume, one holding a sheaf of wheat, rendered in a refined Art Deco style against an ornate guilloche border. The central panel bears the denomination legend PÄŤDESIAT KORÚN SLOVENSKÝCH within a decorative cartouche, flanked by the Slovak double-cross emblem as an underprint, with the issuing authority SLOVENSKÁ NÁRODNÁ BANKA V BRATISLAVE and the date V Bratislave dňa 15. októbra 1940 inscribed below.
