| Obverse description | Printed in black on plain paper, the note carries multilingual letterpress text in Swedish, Finnish, and Russian across the central field, declaring the deposit obligation of the Grand Principality of Finland's Exchange-Deposit and Loan Bank. Two embossed dry-seal medallions flank the text on either side, serving as the principal security device. The denomination numeral '50' appears within an oval typeset cartouche at the lower centre, accompanied by two manuscript signatures and a manuscript date 'Åbo, 13 Oct. 1820' inscribed within the body text, with a serial number handwritten at the top. |
