| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the national emblem of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, depicting a stylized landscape with paddy fields, a forest, and a road converging toward a rising sun, all flanked by sheaves of rice tied with a ribbon at the base. A hammer and sickle device appears at the center top of the emblem, surmounted by a five-pointed star. The emblem is rendered in high relief against a flat field. Below the emblem, a two-line Lao script legend appears followed by the date range 1975–1985 in the lower portion of the field. The coin's border is decorated with a continuous ring of beads. |
