| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse carries an intaglio architectural vignette of the Central Council building in Kyiv — constructed in 1912 to a design by architect Pavlo Alioshyn and the seat of the Ukrainian Central Council, the first national government of Ukraine. The inscription 'БУДИНОК УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ЦЕНТРАЛЬНОЇ РАДИ' identifies the structure, with the denomination numeral '50' and the year '2011' integrated into the layout against a guilloche underprint in complementary tones. The overall composition commemorates the proclamation of Ukraine's landmark universals from this building. |

| Opmerkingen |
The National Bank of Ukraine established its own printing facility in Kyiv in 1994, just three years after independence — a deliberate move to bring note production fully in-house rather than rely on foreign presses as the country had during its earliest post-Soviet issues. This commemorative 50 Hryven marks two decades of that institution's operation. It was issued as a legal tender commemorative, not a souvenir sheet, meaning it carried genuine face value and could technically circulate alongside standard series notes.
Pick 125 is collected primarily as a set piece; finding one in genuinely used condition would be the actual rarity here.
