| Obverse description | The left portion of the note carries a woodcut-style vignette of a historic pillory (Prangersäule) in Ysper, captioned below in Gothic script with the inscription identifying the structure and its date of 1571, all set within a decorative border. To the right, a green tiled underprint covers the field, over which the denomination "Fünfzig Heller" is rendered in large ornate Gothic lettering alongside the numeral 50, with a vertical interlaced guilloche band dividing the two zones. The upper right carries a four-line patriotic verse in Gothic script, with the issuer identification "Notgeld der Marktgemeinde Ysper, N.-Öst." appearing at lower right. |
