| Obverse description | Printed in rose-red on cream paper, the obverse carries the Gothic script title Notgeld der Gemeinde Wolfpassing bei Steinakirchen at the top, flanked by decorative Art Nouveau floral borders on both lateral margins enclosing rural figural vignettes — a seated woman harvesting grain at lower left and a standing male farm worker at lower right. The central vignette presents a letterpress view of a multi-storey manor house with conical towers set against a clouded sky, framed above and below by ornamental dot-and-dash registers. The denomination 50 Heller appears in bold numerals at both left and right, with the validity date Gülfig bis 31. Oktober 1920 inscribed below the right numeral, and manuscript signature lines for the Bürgermeister, Gemeinderat, and Vice Bürgermeister at the foot. |
