To the left, a letterpress vignette illustrates the parish church of the market town set among trees, captioned below 'Kirche des Marktes'. | Reverse description | Printed entirely in green on plain paper, the reverse carries the full authorizing text of the Notgeld issue within the same geometric arrow-and-diamond border used on the obverse. The issuer's name 'WINDHAAG' is set in large display lettering as the typographic centerpiece, flanked above by 'DIE GEMEINDE' and below by 'BEI FREISTADT'. Two manuscript signature facsimiles appear in the lower portion under the respective titles 'DER BÜRGERMEISTER STELLVERTRETER' and 'DER BÜRGERMEISTER', with a redemption notice at the foot of the note. |
