Obverse description Bipartite layout printed in blue ink by letterpress: the left panel carries a fine-line vignette of the Hauptplatz (main square) of Wilhelmsburg as it appeared in 1830, with caption 'HAUPTPLATZ IN WILHELMSBURG IM JAHRE 1830', rendering the Gothic tower, church spire, and riverside townscape in detailed line work. The right panel bears the issuing authority text in Gothic script above the bold denomination 'Fünfzig Heller', with the large numeral '50' in the upper right corner flanked by decorative vine-leaf ornaments. A two-line redemption clause specifying validity from 1 to 31 December 1920 appears below, dated 'Mai 1920', with three manuscript signature lines for the Vize-Bürgermeister, Bürgermeister, and Finanzreferent.

Reverse description The reverse, printed entirely in blue ink on plain cream paper, is dominated by a large central letterpress vignette of the municipal coat of arms of Wilhelmsburg set within a baroque cartouche of scrollwork and volutes. The heraldic shield displays a fortified tower with flanking building wings above an arched gateway, executed in fine line work with no additional text or inscription.
