| Reverse description | Plain cream paper reverse, largely unadorned, with a faint ghost impression of the obverse visible through the paper. A single block of small-format Gothic (Fraktur) script text occupies the central field, setting out the legal and financial authority under which these notes were issued, referencing the municipal council resolution of 29 October 1918 and the guarantee of the Stadtgemeinde Wiener Neustadt backed by its entire movable and immovable assets. |
| Reverse lettering | Um den Bargeldnot zu beheben, gibt die Stadtgemeinde Wiener-Neustadt auf Grund des Gemeinderatsbeschlusses vom 29. Oktober 1918 im Einverständnisse mit der österr.-ungar. Bank Kassenscheine bis zum Gesamtbetrage von 5 Millionen Kronen aus. Die Kassenscheine sind unvorgreiflich, werden von der Stadtgemeinde Wiener-Neustadt bis 15. März 1919 in Zahlung genommen und in der Zeit vom 15. Jänner bis 15. März 1919 in gesetzlichem Bargeld eingelöst oder nötigenfalls gegen Kassenscheine mit weiterer Laufzeit umgetauscht. Die Stadtgemeinde haftet für diese Verbindlichkeit mit ihrem ganzen beweglichen und unbeweglichen Vermögen. |
