| 备注 |
Weissenstein an der Drau is a small Carinthian municipality, and this 50 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept rural Austria after the First World War — local authorities printing small-denomination emergency scrip to compensate for a near-total collapse in coin circulation. The Klagenfurt printer Gutenberghaus handled a significant volume of Carinthian municipal issues during this period, making them a de facto regional clearing house for the genre.
W. Benedikt's designer credit is worth noting; named local designers on Notgeld of this scale are less common than generic or anonymous plate work.
