Obverse description The obverse is printed in dark red and black on plain paper, divided into three vertical panels by ruled borders. The left and right panels each carry the denomination numeral '50' above the word 'Heller' in bold blackletter type, set against a hatched underprint. The central panel presents a letterpress vignette of a courtyard scene with a large vine-covered tree, arched architectural elements, and tiled rooftops in a fine pen-and-ink style. Below the vignette, the left text panel contains the municipal guarantee clause, while the right panel gives the issue date of 15 April 1920 with three manuscript signatures for the Bürgermeister, Vizebürgermeister, and Gemeinderat. The heading 'Kassenschein der Marktgemeinde' runs across the full width in Gothic script at the top, with 'Weissenkirchen in der Wachau' in large blackletter script along the bottom margin.

Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in black on the same plain paper, with no pictorial vignette. The upper portion carries a four-line verse in blackletter script attributed to 'Just.', followed by a substantial text block in the same typeface explaining the issue: the municipality of Weißenkirchen in der Wachau issued Kassenscheine totalling 64,000 Kronen, redeemable without interest until 30 November 1920 and exchangeable for legal tender between 15 and 30 November 1920. A final line warns that counterfeiting is punishable by law.
