The upper portion carries a four-line verse in blackletter script attributed to 'Just.', followed by a substantial text block in the same typeface explaining the issue: the municipality of Weißenkirchen in der Wachau issued Kassenscheine totalling 64,000 Kronen, redeemable without interest until 30 November 1920 and exchangeable for legal tender between 15 and 30 November 1920. A final line warns that counterfeiting is punishable by law. |

Zur Linderung der Kleingeldnot gibt die Gemeinde Weißenkirchen in der Wachau Kassenscheine im Gesamtbetrage von 64.000 Kronen aus. Dieselben sind unverzinslich, werden von der Gemeinde Weißenkirchen bis 30. November 1920 in Zahlung genommen und vom 15. bis 30. November 1920 in gesetzlichem Bargelde eingelöst.
