| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark blue on cream paper and carries a large heraldic vignette of the Austrian imperial coat of arms — a double-headed eagle with spread wings, surmounted by an imperial crown — serving as an underprint behind the central text. A horizontal ruled band across the centre bears the denomination in bold letterpress: the numeral '50' flanked by the words 'Fünfzig' and 'Heller'. Above the eagle, the inscription 'II.
