The denomination "50" appears in large bold numerals in panels to the left and right of the central vignette, with "FÜNFZIG" above and "HELLER" below each numeral. The legend "GUTSCHEIN d. GEMEINDE" runs along the top, and "STEINHAUS b. WELS" is inscribed across the lower margin. |

Below the text, two signature lines identify the Bürgermeister and his deputy, each with printed facsimile signatures in cursive script. The printer's imprint "Preßverein Wels" appears at the foot of the note, outside the border. |
