| Obverse description | Green and black Notgeld on pale paper with a decorative guilloche border forming four corner medallions, each bearing the denomination '50 HELLER' in bold numerals within a circular frame. The centre is occupied by a finely engraved landscape vignette of the village of St. Stefan am Walde, with a church tower and cluster of rural buildings set against a wooded hillside and a distant Alpine panorama; the artist's signature 'J. RABLER' appears at the lower right of the vignette. The issuer's name 'Gutschein der Gemeinde St. Stefan a.W.' is inscribed in decorative lettering across the upper margin, with the validity legend 'Giltig bis 28.
