Obverse description The upper portion of the note is divided into three panels printed in red-brown and slate blue: the two flanking panels each bear a large numeral '50' within a geometric lozenge and quarter-circle frame, while the central panel carries a letterpress vignette of a rocky outcrop with sparse vegetation. A broad lower band in slate blue bears the issuer's name in stylised Art Nouveau lettering split across two lines.

Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in slate blue on plain paper within a decorative border of small squares. The right-hand text block contains the official redemption declaration in Fraktur script, stating the total notgeld issue of 30,000 Kronen redeemable at the municipal cashier's office by 31 September 1920, followed by the printed signatures of the deputy mayor and the mayor. A vertical column of verse text in Fraktur runs along the left margin. The denomination numeral '50' appears in the lower left and lower right corners, with an anti-counterfeiting notice centred at the foot.
