| 备注 |
Reichersberg am Inn is a small market town in Upper Austria, and its 1920 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austrian municipalities after the collapse of the Habsburg economy left small-denomination coinage virtually nonexistent. These locally issued emergency notes were typically authorized, printed, and distributed within the municipality itself — the signature of Karl Oettl almost certainly indicates a local official, likely the Bürgermeister or a designated treasurer, rather than a bank functionary.
Notgeld of this type had an extremely short intended lifespan, usually redeemable within months. Many Austrian municipal issues from 1920 were never formally retired, leaving redemption status uncertain.
