正面描述 Central vignette of a panoramic townscape of Rattenberg set against a mountain backdrop, framed by a decorative arch of braided rope motif with floral corner ornaments in orange and dark red. Denomination numerals '50' appear in large orange Gothic lettering in the upper left and right corners, each accompanied by the word 'Heller' below. The Tyrolean eagle coat of arms is placed in the lower left, and a guilloche underprint band runs along the lower margin bearing the inscription 'Stadt Rattenberg in Tirol' in ornate black-letter script.

备注

Rattenberg, on the Inn River in Tyrol, holds the distinction of being Austria's smallest town by area — a fact that makes its wartime and postwar Notgeld issues something of a curiosity in themselves. This 50 Heller note belongs to the wave of municipal emergency money that flooded Austria after the collapse of the Habsburg economy in 1918, when coin shortages made small-denomination scrip a practical necessity rather than a commemorative exercise.

Wagner of Innsbruck handled a significant portion of Tyrolean Notgeld production during this period, which accounts for the family resemblance across many regional issues from 1919–1921.
