| Obverse description | The left half of the note is occupied by a red-printed vignette, signed 'SELIGER', of a medieval round tower and church with a Baroque steeple set along a riverbank, rendered in fine line engraving. The right half carries the issuer text in Gothic blackletter script, reading 'Gutschein / der Stadtgemeinde / Pöchlarn', above the validity date 'Nur gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920'. A guilloché underprint showing the numeral '50' appears at centre-right, while the denomination 'Fünfzig Heller' runs vertically along both lateral borders, flanked by corner medallions bearing the figure '50'. Two facsimile manuscript signatures of the Vizebürgermeister and Bürgermeister appear at the lower right. |
