| Obverse description | Plain white note printed in dark navy blue letterpress throughout, with no pictorial vignette. The layout is divided into three ruled rectangular panels: the uppermost bears the inscription 'Notgeld K' in bold Gothic (Fraktur) type with each letter set in an individual box; the central and largest panel carries the issuer name 'Gemeinde Oberalm', the validity clause 'Giltig bis 15.
