| Obverse description | Printed in brown and black on cream paper, the obverse is divided into two panels: at left, an oval vignette encloses a woodcut-style rural scene with a church steeple and trees set against a radiating sky, surrounded by Art Nouveau scroll and floral ornaments. The right panel carries the issuing authority legend at the top, flanked on either side by the denomination spelled out as FÜNFZIG HELLER with the large numeral 50 set within a guilloche cartouche at centre. Below the denomination, a three-line guarantee text states the municipality's full liability, followed by the place and date of issue; three manuscript signatures appear at the foot under the roles of Vizebürgermeister, Bürgermeister, and Gemeinderat, with the printer's imprint ROBERT LEITNER below the frame. |

| Reverse description | Printed in olive-green on plain cream paper, the reverse presents a large circular guilloche underprint at centre, formed by concentric looping line patterns with a decorative foliate motif at top and bottom. Superimposed on this underprint is a central text block in Gothic and Latin typefaces stating the municipality's obligation to redeem the Notgeld in lawful currency by 30 September 1920, with a counterfeiting warning at the foot. The issuer name NUSSENDORF-ARTSTETTEN is set in bold capital letters as the focal inscription within the text block. |
