| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed on pink paper, the obverse is divided into three panels within a ruled border: the left and right vignettes each present a local architectural scene — a Baroque church tower with onion dome amid foliage on the left, and a rural farmstead with a church steeple set against a cloudy sky on the right. The central panel carries the denomination '50' in bold numerals within a dark rectangular frame, flanked above and below by the inscription 'HELLER'. The heading 'GEMEINDE NIEDERTALHEIM.' runs in large block capitals across the top, and a four-line verse in German occupies the lower margin. The artist's signature 'Irla Rüsburger' appears at lower right. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed on pink paper, the reverse is enclosed by a decorative border of repeating geometric dot-and-diamond ornaments. The text field, set within a plain ruled inner frame, carries the full issuing authority text in German, stating that the Gemeindevorsthung Niedertalheim issues this Notgeld by resolution of the municipal committee of 21 April 1920 to address the prevailing coin shortage, and that the vouchers are redeemable in legal tender from 1 to 31 December 1920 inclusive. A counterfeiting warning appears at lower left, and the printed facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister, Alois Schick, is placed at lower right beneath the title 'Der Bürgermeister:'. |
