| 备注 |
Neumarkt im Hausruckkreis was one of hundreds of Austrian municipalities that issued their own emergency paper currency — Notgeld — in the years following World War I, when small-denomination coins disappeared from circulation entirely due to hoarding and metal shortages. Jos. Feichtingers Erben was a Linz commercial printing firm that handled a considerable volume of Upper Austrian Notgeld during this period, supplying notes to numerous market towns and rural communes across the region.
The Jaksc catalogue reference 0662a indicates this is the first recorded type for this denomination from this issuer — variants exist.
