| Obverse description | Printed in dark green on cream paper, the obverse is framed by an ornate foliate and scroll border enclosing a central letterpress vignette of the Unterhaus des Joh. Nep. Hanser, Landeshauptmann — a traditional Austrian rural building complex — with a smaller circular vignette in the lower left rendering a church and cemetery scene. The heading 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Natternbach' appears in bold Fraktur script across the top, while the denomination '50' is set in large Gothic numerals at both left and right margins above the inscription 'Heller'. The lower portion carries the municipal liability text, the date 'Natternbach, am 2. Mai 1920', the printed title 'Der Bürgermeister', and a manuscript signature. |
