| 备注 |
Austrian Notgeld of this type emerged from a genuine collapse in small-denomination coinage circulation after World War I — the imperial monetary system had disintegrated, and municipal authorities across Austria were legally permitted to fill the gap with locally issued emergency scrip. Mondsee, a small market town on the Salzkammergut lake of the same name, issued its own series accordingly. These notes were redeemable locally and had no value outside the immediate district.
Reisenbichler is a local attribution, almost certainly a regional designer rather than a professional printing house artist. The signature of Ant. Kaltenbrunner indicates municipal authorization at the time of issue.
