| Obverse description | Printed in dark red and blue-grey on pale paper, the obverse centres on an arched vignette presenting a bird's-eye view of the Merkens Pappen-Fabrik (cardboard factory) at Mistlberg set against a wooded hillside, flanked by two standing worker figures in period dress serving as lateral supporters with circular '50 HELLER' denomination cartouches at upper left and upper right.
