| Beschrijving voorzijde | Rose-pink notgeld voucher with a serrated border enclosing a dark outer frame, the upper register carrying the issuer legend in Gothic script above a large bold denomination numeral '50' flanked by 'Heller' on each side. The lower two-thirds of the face is occupied by a finely engraved panoramic vignette of the Maria-Enzersdorf townscape, with a church tower at right, surrounding rooftops set amid trees, and a vineyard or meadow in the foreground. The entire composition rests over a pale foliate underprint of stylised leaves. |

| Opmerkingen |
Maria-Enzersdorf is a small town south of Vienna, and this 50 Heller note is a product of Austria's postwar Notgeld wave — the municipal emergency currency that flooded the country between roughly 1919 and 1922 when small coins vanished from circulation almost entirely. The central government could not keep pace with demand for low-denomination specie, so hundreds of municipalities simply printed their own. Legally tolerated, never formally authorized.
The Jaksch reference places this in the mainstream Austrian Notgeld corpus. No unusual printing errors or variants are documented for this specific issue.
