Obverse description The obverse carries a large panoramic engraved vignette of Mannersdorf am Leithagebirge as seen from an elevated vantage, rendered in a brownish-green tonal print after a 17th-century cartographic illustration, with Latin geographical annotations at left and right identifying the Alpine and Hungarian mountain ranges. The denomination legend 'Gutschein über Fünfzig Heller' is set in bold Gothic blackletter script across the upper portion, with the issuer name 'MANNERSDORF.' at upper right. At lower left, the numeral '50' appears within a framed panel alongside a Gothic script repetition of the denomination, while a Latin descriptive text block occupies the lower right, with a further inscription in Gothic script running along the bottom margin.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in dark brown and red on a pale ground with an overall wave-pattern guilloche underprint enclosed within a decorative scrollwork border. The heading 'Gutschein' in bold Gothic blackletter is flanked on each side by the denomination '50 Heller' in red, with a large red underprint numeral '50' at centre. Two lines of smaller Gothic text below confirm the issuing authority and the municipality's legal obligation to redeem the note in lawful currency, followed by the resolution date and the issue date 'Mannersdorf, am 20. Mai 1920.' Four manuscript signatures appear in two pairs, with an official circular municipality stamp of Mannersdorf affixed at centre. The validity and anti-counterfeiting notices are printed in small Gothic type along the bottom margin.
