| Obverse description | The left half of the note is occupied by a letterpress vignette of the parish church of Mank, rendered in fine line engraving with an onion-domed tower, nave, and surrounding trees and fencing. The right panel carries the denomination numeral '50' at upper right within a ruled cartouche, followed by the value inscription in Gothic blackletter script and a text block stating the issuer's liability pledge, dated 'Mank, 15. Juni 1920'. Two manuscript signatures of the Vizebürgermeister and Bürgermeister appear at the foot. The entire note is framed by a repeating square-ornament border. |
