| Obverse description | Dark brown letterpress on cream paper with a ornate border. The upper panel bears the issuer's name in Gothic script, flanked by denomination numerals '50' in dark corner cartouches. Two lateral vignettes frame the central text field: a Gothic church with steeple to the left and a round medieval tower amid trees to the right. The central text, set in elaborate Fraktur script, renders the denomination 'Fünfzig Heller' and the redemption obligation of the Marktgemeinde Leonfelden per council resolution of 17 March 1920, with three manuscript signatures below their respective titles. The lower panel carries the motto 'In der Zeit der Not wars ein Gebot' flanking a small town coat-of-arms vignette. |
