| Obverse description | Blue on buff paper Notgeld issue. A central vignette occupies the upper portion of the note, presenting a detailed line-engraved view of Laxenburg Palace (Schloss Laxenburg) with surrounding grounds. Circular guilloche rosettes in each upper corner contain the denomination numeral '50', flanked by ornamental lace-pattern borders along the left and right margins. The lower section carries the script title 'Kassenschein der Gemeinde Laxenburg N.Oe.' with validity text 'Gültig bis 31. Juli 1920' to the lower left, a municipal guarantee clause to the lower right, and three facsimile signature lines below for the Kämmerer, Bürgermeister, and Vizebürgermeister. |
